This mini story features a little girl but I can change the image to a boy. Easily download and assemble for your child who is new to reading. I can also edit the book so your child can write their own words and draw their own pictures.
After your child spends some time learning about the sunlight, twilight and midnight ocean zones, have him select an animal to learn about. Then he can fill in the blanks and illustrates his very own book. He can even make up a sea creature and give reasons why it should belong in that zone. For bonus research: look up all the sea creatures that were discovered this past year.
Your young reader who has learned about the moon and is ready to write will have fun filling in the blanks with her new knowledge about our moon. Just download, print and assemble. One small step for mom, one giant leap for your little learner!
